I made a really big decision last night, at least for me. I was logging on last night when Julie saw my computer wallpaper - a black and red Gary Fisher bicycle, the Cake 4 DLX. The Cake 4 DLX is about $1400, which for me makes it more a dream bike than anything else. Julie said something about how it was good to have a goal, and then suggested that if I were to sell my motorcycle I could probably afford it.
I've been hanging on to my old 500cc Honda motorcycle for about six years now, thinking that one day I would go back to riding it. But the fact of the matter is that if I were going to do that, I would have done it already. The Kelly Blue Book value for the motorcycle is $1,300, which would put me right in the ballpark of the Cake 4, and might even give me the extra cash to get some extra gear as well.
Anybody want to buy a good used motorcycle?

Good idea...
There are tons of trails to ride in around here. My brother used to hit a few of them though he did come home sore and bruised after several adventures. Never broke anything but he did have some funny stories to tell. He issed a turn one time and ended up riding (sort of) down an embankment and met a tree. A helmet and pads are a must as well as riding a trail that matches your skill level (as he found out). I wouldn't mind taking that bike off your hands but my wife would make me sore and bruised if I tried.
Great idea!!!!
No, *I* don't wanna buy a bike, but I think Julie's idea is macho. Sell that bike, boy!! Then you can go do some more "mountain" (teeheee!!) biking.
Hey now...
Let's not pick on Florida, that's why we have elections. Actually, they built a set of trails on the site of an old phosphate mine, and while it probably can't rival mountains for the sheer lack of bounce upon impact, it has some killer drops.
