STAR WARS:
20 Questions- Round 2
1. Does your character have an ultimate goal and if so, what is it?
An ultimate goal is going to take awhile. First he needs a ship that is his alone. Then he can get a crew for it. Once that crew is off and running he finds another one. Eventually he will have several of them and be his own division.
2. What is his/her secret and what will happen if it is discovered?
I don’t know and Angelo doesn’t even know that he has a secret. The brotherhood is about trust, and loyalty. What will they do if they find that someone close to them as been misleading them all this time. He is lying to them even though it is unbeknownst to Angelo. The others might not see it that way. Then again they have accepted outsiders many times before.
3. What does your character think of the political climate in the Sector & the Galaxy?
This Republic only thinks that it’s got things under control here. It seems that any little thing could send the sector flying fast in a downward spiral. Case in point Piracy, they sure don’t have a handle on that. It’s the pirates themselves that seem to keep each other in check with the constant conflicts with the different groups.
4. What does your character do to relax?
Angelo’s pleasure is music, soft and flowing. A classical man he enjoys to sit in private in a large comfortable chair and relax to the tune of smooth strings. He learned how to gamble, and he finds it fun. It is a place where he can continue to group in his works of manipulation. He can read the people and not worry about the cards, but still it is work just fun work.
5. If your character were given a 1,000 credits, what would they do with it?
INVEST!!! That or put it all on Black, depends or how he feels that day.
6. Does your character have a stereotypical view of male or female?
Well in the family a man can take multiple wives, so that makes women less important then men. Women can do things that a man cannot, and for that they should be honored. However beyond their unique talents they should remain subservient to the wishes of a man.
7. What are the names of the characters parents and what do they do?
Angelo’s father and mother are known to everyone as Bregan and Shelia La’Trakis. Shelia is also the mother of Sal and Monty La’Trakis. Although Angelo has known Shelia to be his mother for as long as he can remember, he has never felt a connection that one would expect from a child to their mother. That is most likely because Mila Le’Zant is his birth mother, and she died in childbirth. His true father Francisco Le’Zant was killed by Bregan when Angelo was almost four years old. The killing was just business many years ago, before Bregan was established in the Brotherhood. Bregan could not bring himself to kill an innocent baby so he took him in and cared for him as his own to respect the dying wishes of his friend Francisco.
8. What reward would your character most want to receive?
To be recognized in the Brotherhood as a major player in the inner workings, a prominent leader in the organizations politics. To become a head or leader of one of the largest groups ever. To be known by all as Commandant Angelo La’Trakis.
9. What do the character’s most prized weapon look like, and how did you get it?
Being that Angelo is not a fighter, his prized weapon would be his Riot Shield which if used aggressively could stun you pretty well. When Angelo and Sal where on their way back they stopped at a planet that held Gladiatorial style combat. While watching he saw that many of the fighters carried very long shields, almost as long as their bodies. The combatants would use these shields in many different ways, to block, parry, bash, trip, and stun just to name a few. Angelo got the idea that he could use it also, since he was a small frame person it would cover him well in a boarding action. Now it never leaves his side.
10. Does the character have a religion that they follow, and how devote are they?
Is he looking? Yes. Actively? No. Found any leads? No. does that bother him? No.
11. What is your character’s favorite possession?
Angelo has come to learn that possessions are meant to be lost. You are only going to have what is on your back, what you can carry, and sometimes not even that much. With that mind set Angelo has made it appoint to not become attached to any personal objects. He has fine taste and buys only the best, but never counts on it to truly last.
12. Who is the character’s closest friend?
Trusting somebody enough to rely on them completely is difficult. Friends seem to be made to rely on each other often. Angelo considers everyone of his crew a “friend”, but it’s the depth of the friendship where he holds back. However he keeps his conflicts close to his self not letting anyone know his inner feelings.
13. What does the Character, love, hate and fear?
Angelo is too young to have any of these worth mentioning, at this point in his life he loves the adventure, hates to lose, and fears the death.
14. How does the character feel about working under someone else?
It is necessary in the beginning. You have to have a mentor to help you, guide you. Angelo’s goal in life is to be his own captain, to lead his own ships and have many people under him. For now it is a necessary burden that he has to deal with, and take advantage of while he can.
15. How does the character feel about the Republic?
This universe is too big to be held completely by any one group. There are too many ways that people can rise up against a form of government. The Republic has a lot to do just keeping everyone happy and in the system. However there could be worse governments out there. At least with the Republic we know what they want and where they are going… or do we?
16. Describe the character’s ideal mate.
She would be taller then Angelo, about 6 feet even, slender frame with long legs. Her fire red hair would fall to her middle back, and sway smooth as she walked. Her eyes would be the type of eyes that seem to pierce into mans soul and evaluate you at your core. Her skin is smooth like silk and there are no scares, not because she hasn’t tried but because she has never failed.
17. Character just saw a relative stealing from the Brotherhood, what does she do?
Confront that Relative, alone. Ultimately that person has lost favor his Angelo’s views, but it is up to the rest of the crew to decide his or her fate. Angelo has problems trusting people, and if you can’t trust family then who can you trust. Angelo would need to know the reason, the whole reason why, then maybe there could be hope, but most likely that relative would be kicked off the ships crew. Death would not really be an option for Angelo, after all the person family.
18. How does the character feel about the Force and those who use it?
The Force more hocus-pocuses then anything else. It is impossible for Angelo to believe that there is anything out there that controls his destiny. The people who use it are trying to scam the rest into buying into their philosophy so that they can control them.
19. Who does the character trust more than anyone else?
Himself, because Angelo knows that he will never mislead himself. Angelo can not lie to himself, and or make him do things that are against his own will. This is mainly a youthful problem with trust. Angelo will learn and grow to trust more as time passes. It requires a commitment and the youthful nature of Angelo is not willing to make that commitment.
However Angelo does rely on the group to survive and get the missions done.
20. How does the character see him or her dying?
Angelo’s death will be in his bed at home, a lifetime down the road. His sons have taken over the family business, and all is well. Angelo has had a good life, many lives compared to some and now his body is unable to go on. His wife of fifty years sits at his side knowing that she will not be long behind him. She rubs a warm moist wash cloth over his forehead, and holds his hand comforting him in he last few minutes. There is nobody else is in the room, Angelo lived his life in power and didn’t want anyone other then his wife to see him so weakened. He feels the end coming, and opens his eyes. Angelo looks longingly at his wife and whispers, “I’ll see you soon, but don’t rush on my account…” Angelo’s eye close slowly as his widow kisses his lips one last time. She looks at her dead husband and says, “Yes I will be there soon my Angel and love will show me the way.”
