I thought I would set up an area for the book authors to discuss ideas and post information. For example, I rearranged a bunch of the pages today, particularly the stories about Cabrin, to try and give them a better and more logical grouping. If anyone has a problem with it, drop me line here or via email, and we can always put it back.
Age of Kings
I've written some pages on the Day in the Life series, and was wondering if there's any other places or people in the Principality that you guys would like to read about. It's helping me flesh out not only the politics, but also the other aspects of the new world. Everything within this area is the model for the rest of the world, slanted by their personal beliefs and culture, of course. Any other ideas, just post them in this thread. Thanks.
The End of Long Darkness
I finally finished the Long Darkness series. I'm actually glad that it's over - it's been such a dark, brooding series, filled with stuff that I'd really rather not think about. I'm looking forward to writing some happier stuff now, or at least something that isn't all about how brutal people can be to each other.

Kailee and Alexander's hiatus
Both have gotten to the point where I need to let the game dictate their futures, so I may be working on another title for a while. I'm also working on the game but, I have the itch still to write. Any suggestions?
Re: Kailee and Alexander's hiatus
Another perspective..
Perhaps a perspective from the elves or dwarves maybe? Or go the Star Wars route. You haven't done a whole lot with the Chronicles. It might be time to visit that area for awhile.
For Awhile....
I could go on with Ilana for years, nearly as long as I could with any other I suppose. I'm enjoying the change of genre and getting back to dusting off those large notebooks that I've filled with years of things. She's been fun and this story has allowed me to expand on her pre-history a bit before she met the group that totally corrupted her. : )
A little corruption....
never hurt anyone ;)
The Long Darkness
What a well written tale. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Anything that provides background to the characters we portray gives them depth and makes them real. I look forward to more about him.
Long Darkness
The title certainly befits the subject, but I also feel that it tells Sceva's story as far as the negative things that have effected his personality. I do agree that it's hard to write things that are so against the writer's nature that they do leave a lasting impression. Parts of Kailee's story have done that to me also. I've been pondering a page that would include the 'dark side's' take on one particular incident to flesh out the story a bit, much like we see in movies when both sides are told and then brought together in the end. I have definintely enjoyed reading all of the pages submitted to the site and have certainly become addicted to writing myself. I know you couldn't tell that readily on your own, so I thought I'd throw that in. : )
Changes to Life on the Inside
It appears that Dan is going to win the "most prolific" award for authoring over 30 book pages since May 6, when I took the site live.
It also means that unless anyone objects, I'm going to be going through and reorganizing his book pages. You may have already noticed that "Life on the Inside" now has "Book One" and "Book Two," with all of the current pages inside Book One. I plan on moving pages 26 and higher into Book Two. I will also add Book Three if we get any stories that take place after Kailee enters the cave of mystery.
If anyone has a problem with this, let me know. I'm very flexible about how we organize things, but I would like to keep it easy to navigate for people.

It's a sickness that I have.
I was noticing that the pages were beginning to stack up and I was even planning on having Book Two begin with after she exited the Cave of Mystery, but this way is fine. As the saga unfolds there may even be up to Book Ten. Who knows.
Death to the Empire...
The Tauri Sector is where Cabrin came into his own time after time with so many others playing a huge part in its liberation from the shackles of Imperial control.
Re: Death to the Empire
I once thought that way, then I met this journalist from INN... he was very convincing...

Tauri Sector Chronicles
I had suggested the partition for the heading to add stories about those characters in my old Star Wars game that could group them the way we've grouped those from my Rolemaster game. Eventually I'm planning on adding stories about Ilana, Miriam and perhaps others under this title. I'd first like to bring the Kailee story to a good point before I leave her for a bit and write another. We may at some point downt he road create another heading for those characters that took part in the Opladen Sector - the first group as well as the Sector Rangers unit.
The Opladen Sector stories
...could be called "Sector of Death." First we received, then we gave. 'Tis better to give than receive. Amen.
