Star Wars d6 Rules: CTU Character Creation Notes

Begin with the standard Star Wars d6 rules.  However, use the CTU Skills and Talents list instead of the standard list.

After you assign your 18d of attributes and select your 26 skills, use an additional 9D instead of the usual 7D to increase those skills as desired.

Choose three Specializations from among your skills as usual.

Select one Hobby for your character, which will be added to your skills as a fourth Specialization.  No cheating and trying to claim that "long-range sniping" is really a Hobby!

This is a modern-era game, so ignore Force Sensitivity - no one is Force Sensitive in this game.  You do, however, get to use Force Points in the same way that the Rolemaster games used Fate Points.

You will raise skills as usual.

Skills with 4D, as a general rule, are considered to be the level of a trained professional.  An average terrorist-on-the-street possesses most skills at 2D.  But then, if these were average terrorists, they wouldn't need CTU, would they?

All skills are a broad general knowledge of that topic, which is why they added specializations.  Characters also start with 5 Character Points and 1 Force Point.
