This morning at a press conference held by the Lord Chamberlain, Sir Alonso Bevin, Count Regan was announced as the Commander of the newly formed 1st Air Defence Force. Under the temporary supervision of the Imperial COMPNOR office in Whitegate, the count will be gifted 50 space capable fighters to help defend the freighters owned by the Arzhavel Merchant Guild. Under constant harrassment by pirates operating in the outer moons of the system, trade routes to Bosa and Sassari have claimed more than twelve ships in the last five years alone.

Little as of yet is known of the fighters that the King's office has signed for but, the Lord Chamberlain did announce that the first five trainers had arrived and that the First would be operational within six weeks. Under the leadership of Count Regan who rules from the western city of Newport, the First proves to be an elite unit which will pool from the ranks of the King's Air Force.
