Lieutenant Ambry of the 1st ADF logged his first kill against the pirates near the moons of Sassari this morning while escorting three freighters for the Arzhavel Merchant Guild. He and his three wingmen noticed the mysterious vessels as the convoy passed the nearby docking station and refinery owned by Miles Griffin Mining, based on Sassari itself. The larger freighters suffered little damage in the encounter but praised the Lieutenant and his pilots for their bravery.

The annual exercise between the King's Army and the visiting Imperial Army kicked off today with a mock invasion of the island of Camden, 2000 miles southwest of the city of Laghy. Five thousand troops, vehicles and aircraft are taking part in the maneuvers that will last all week. The remote island is perfect for live fire exercises also which the King's Air Force also takes part in as they strafe targets and bomb mothballed vehicles in various areas.
Leading the invasion force, Prince Keaghan, Lieutenant Colonel of the 1st Infantry Division, eagerly led his troops on a pre-dawn raid and successfully overran a small Imperial outpost. King Debrann and Governor Omry both watched the mock invasion with great interest and praised both forces as well as their leadership.
"This is the result of years of training and sharing of ideas between our great armies that may one day have to use their abilities and comradery abroad," Major Brelade, Batallion Commander on Glova whose headquarters is stationed in Whitegate, stated as the exercise neared it's final days. "I've enjoyed knowing the brave Glovanian troops have taken what we've shown them and put the knowledge to such good use. I look forward to what the future holds."
Whitegate has made no efforts as of yet to fully integrate itself with the Imperial Army or Navy.
"We're a very independent people," Prince Keaghan stated during a luncheon with his Company commanders. "I don't mind learning from the Imperials and we'll be ready for whatever may come in the future. Although, I don't see the pirate influence in the outer planets becoming large enough to warrant an invasion. But, you never know."
