'News when you need it most.'

At the Royal Air Academy on Corrin Air Base in Whitegate, Prince Geron was formally promoted by Governor Omry in a large ceremony to congratulate the prince for his service. Now a Captain in the Glovan Customs Fleet, his command will extend over a growing number of pilots and crewmen serving the King and the Empire. With the King, his family and wife and young son looking on, the prince proudly announced his plan for extending operations into the more remote moons to root out the pirates that remain elusive.

Five engagements against the outlaws has gained little intelligence on their present strength as the freighters have proven more resourceful than anticipated. Normally hitting secluded sites and vessels, they avoid direct contact with Count Regan's 1st which has frustrated the noble and his command staff.

"We need to be able to extend our missions to search and destroy as well," the Count stated during the ceremony. Presently, the Governor's office hasn't allowed for that type of mission as of yet. The range of the Z-95 disallows for more extended missions which would include refueling on Sassari but, negotiations are ongoing for such a venture.

When asked about the limitations of the 1st, Lyle Irnic was quoted, "These shortcomings were expected but, to be able to raid with these substandard fighters was not the intended goal. The Headhunters were only meant to escort the freighters and secure their transfer of ore and such to Bosa, which is what they're doing. If the need arises where we have to search and destroy these hidden bases, then the governor will call on the more capable Imperial Navy."
