'News when you need it most.'
In our continuing coverage of the war, reports from the mining community of Kiravan stated that a pre-dawn raid by fighters from the 1st ADF roared in the skies east of the town, firing on Imperial units there. Tracers of red bolts lit up the sky and were soon after silenced by the missiles of not only the Prince's unit, but also the artillery and helicopters of the Glovanian 2nd Division.
"Milady Dickinson was enjoying tea on the veranda of her estate with her daughters watching the display," her greenskeeper, Thomas Moray stated. "It was heart lifting to see our boys destroying those Imperials finally."
In a related story, Lady Patricia Woodson, Baroness of Naos and Director of Domestic Affairs in Whitegate stated, "Recruitment levels for our military have swollen 45% within the past two weeks. While our zeal for king and country is admirable, please keep in mind that our industry can't suffer. Our men in the field still need food, supplies, armament and clothing to do their jobs. Bishops have already given more than is humanly possible, they also need assistants in the medical field. I urge those in college to remain so to help grow our foundation and strengthen our economy while the Empire tries in vain to break us."
*Breaking News*
The town of Confert was just hit by the 1st ADF and elements of the 9th Army's 110th Airborne Division commanded by Count Rhisart.
"I was sitting down with my family getting ready for supper and all of a sudden, the house shook," Alfred Thomson, owner of Aerotek Industries stated shortly after the bombardment. "I thought it was an earthquake or something, then we go outside and I see fighters screaming through the sky and firing into an Imperial convoy down the street. I've never seen anything like that in my life."
Explosions also ripped into the industrial buildings that the cowardly Imperial troops were hiding in, causing several million dinar in damage. Residents in the nearby community remained hidden until the hover vehicles of the Imperial 813th Assault Platoon escaped east through the Myanar Pass. Firefighters are fighting the blazes and have reported only 5 casualties thus far.
"Efforts to rebuild will begin immediately," Lady Beatrice, Duchess of Confert told reporters. "We can't allow this shortcoming to hamper our desires to flourish without the Imperial boot on our necks any longer."
