Dartan's Trials

    Dartan entered the tavern Gwen was busy taking care of the patrons. 

"Gwen" Sameul said

 "Yes father" Gwen replied

 "Dartan would like to speak to you" Her father said with a smile.

   The two walk out into the night.

'Whats on your mind lad 'Samuel stated.

" Well sir I well I mean you know how how I feel about Gwen I hope you know.' Dartan stmmered

the smile left samoels face 'I think I know where this is going' Samuel says.

'You do great I'

Dartan and Charles walk toward the Lion.

Dartan speaks "I am going to do it today I wanted to tell you before I do it"

'do what my Lord" Charles ask's  

I am going to ask Gwen to marry me well I mean to ask her father first the proper way it is done.' Dartan replies.

Dartan awoke in the church. He decided to spend the night there and not to return home. He wanted some time to think.

Later, in his class. "Good job children you all did well today. " Dartan said with a hint of pride in his voice.

' So will you finish the story "john asked with excitment in his voice. 

'Of course'  Dartan replies.
